MamiChurro is the collision of our talents and skills, now applied to creating the life we truly want to live. We learned by trial and error, starting with no capital or a huge chunk of land. We are here to prove that you don't need the "perfect" conditions to begin—only the courage to try. Our mission is to inspire you to start your own journey, wherever and whoever you are.

Co-Founder & Grower
Born in the mountains of the Caucasus, Georgia, Carolina carries a lineage where hospitality is sacred and food is the primary language of love. She bridges the gap between the ancient and the modern, using her background in design and storytelling to give the land a voice. As a practitioner of breathwork and holistic coaching, she views the soil as a mirror for our own nervous systems: patient, resilient, and needing the right conditions to thrive. Carolina is the heart of the "why," guiding MamiChurro from its first balcony seeds to its home in the Andes.

Co-Founder & Builder
Ariel thinks in systems—whether he's architecting software or mapping out the microbial life of a ferment. With over a decade of experience in development, he brings a structural mind to the artisanal world, ensuring that everything we create is grounded and sustainable. He is the architect of our physical and digital spaces, translating the magic of the Valley into the tangible structures that allow MamiChurro to grow. Ariel is the backbone of the "how," committed to making complex systems feel human, honest, and close to the earth.
Before we met, we were already living parallel lives. In different countries, tied to demanding 9–5s, we both felt the pull toward something slower, closer to the land.
Carolina grew herbs and vegetables on windowsills. Ariel traveled the world, observing how people lived, worked, and gathered. In different ways, we both knew the city and the hustle weren't the whole story.

When the world slowed down in 2020, we did too. With everything paused, it became impossible to ignore what wasn't working.
We chose to step off someone else's timeline and begin building our own. Not long after, our paths crossed in Peru's Sacred Valley.
We fell in love and moved into a small home surrounded by fertile pastures. We returned to what had always grounded us — cooking traditional foods, sharing playlists over the cutting boards, letting meals stretch into long evenings.
Tables grew longer. Friends, neighbors, and travelers passing through were always welcome.

Again and again, people told us the same thing: this food feels different.
Encouraged to share what we were creating, we began working with local farmers and crafting small batches rooted in tradition and care. MamiChurro was born.
We're building more than an artisanal food brand. Every jar brings us closer to our dream — a homestead project for people who feel burnt out, disconnected, and quietly longing for a different way of living, but don't know where to begin.
Learn by doing
Practical tools for growing food and starting small.
Reconnect gently
A softer path back to land, rhythm, and nourishment.
Build a future
Each jar helps shape the homestead vision into reality.
"Our mission is to make the leap feel possible."
We're creating a space to teach people how to grow food in small spaces, preserve harvests using ancestral methods, and reconnect with nourishment in practical, grounded ways.
Every jar sold supports small-scale farmers and traditional practices — and brings us closer to stewarding land dedicated to education and regeneration.
Our vision is to welcome people for harvest-to-table meals and restorative stays — offering tools, confidence, and real life experience, not just theory.
When you support MamiChurro, you're not just buying food. You're supporting a path back to balance—for people, land, and future generations.
